Violet L. Cook

Violet L. Cook, formally of Live Oak, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was a native of Live Oak moving to Colorado Springs, CO in 1971. She was Retired Civil Services for Fort Carson Evans Army Hospital as a labor/delivery nurse. She is survived by two sons, Garry Coffey and Michael Coffey; four daughters, Sandra Gross, Wanda Gail Foster, Diane Coffey and Kim Coffey; one sister, Belva Copeland; thirty-seven grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 6th at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the Ebenezer A.M.E. Church. Interment will follow in the St. James A.M.E. Church Cemetery.
