Walter W. Reaves

Walter W. Reaves, age 83, of Live Oak, FL passed Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, Florida. He was a native of Ocala, FL moving to Live Oak from Pedro, FL in 2001. He was a veteran of the Korean War having proudly served in the U. S. Navy. He worked as a barber and was a former member of the JayCee’s. Walter’s favorite pastimes were coon hunting and horseback riding. He was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church of Live Oak. He is survived by his wife Shirley Reaves, Live Oak; one son, David (Becky) Reaves, Live Oak; two daughters, Katharine (Daniel) Branistareanu, St Mary’s, GA and Tori Ann (Toy) Underwood, Summerfield, FL; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial services were held Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Ben Bush and Rev. Larry Burgess officiating.
