Wayne Lewis Gude

Wayne Lewis Gude, age 83, of Live Oak, FL, passed away, Thursday evening, December 12, 2024, at the Surrey Place Care Center in Live Oak, FL following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Dade City, FL living most of his life in Live Oak.  He worked as a truss plant manager for the W.B. Howland Company for over thirty years and was a member of the Westwood Baptist Chruch of Live Oak.  Wayne loved working in his yard, building and fixing just about anything he put his hands on.  He was an avid Florida Gator Football and NASCAR fan and in his younger years, he loved playing softball.

He was predeceased by his parents, A.J. "Buck" Gude and Nettie Lou Kelley Gude, sister, Joyce Vannermine and a brother, Clifford Gude.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Croft Gude, Live Oak, FL; one son, Wayne Lewis (Jenna) Gude, Jr., Live Oak, FL; three daughters, Cynthia (Gary) Newsome, Jennings, FL; Michelle (Jimmy) Norris, Live Oak, FL and Aimee (Clay) Hackney, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Alice Gude Harmouth, Dade City, FL; seven grandchildren, Brittney Smith, Nicky Raines, Dale Raines, Charli Walker, Amanda Shirey, Lexi Gude and Cooper Hackney; eight great grandchildren, Ean Smith, Adley Smith, Jack Raines, Boone Raines, Aidan Weitzel, Brynlee Walker, Asa Cobb and Roselynne Cobb.

Memorial services were held Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Deas and Dr. Ben Bush officiating.
