Wesley Joe Paget
June 30, 1936 — July 24, 2021
Wesley Joe Paget , age 85, of Live Oak, FL, passed away, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a lengthy illness. He was born in Newton, Iowa moving to Live Oak in 2001 from Boca Raton, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War as a staff sergeant. Wes was a pilot for United Airlines for thirty years and was a member of the Retired United Pilots Association and was of the Baptist faith. His most enjoyable moments were traveling and spending time with his grandchildren during the summer.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Paget, Live Oak, FL; three sons, Roy (Kim) Paget, Morton, IL; Russ Paget and Reid Paget both of Live Oak, FL; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
