William "Bill" Albert Messler

William “Bill” A. Messler age 78 of Wellborn FL died peacefully on March 26, 2019.
He was born in Neptune NJ on February 24, 1941 the son of William A. Messler and Lizzie Ella (Adams) Messler. He moved to Charlestown NH at an early age and raised his family close to the 4-H rural ways where farm life, fairs, trips to DC and winter sledding were enjoyed. Bill had many careers in his lifetime, always providing for his family.
He was a son, father, and friend to many, giving you the shirt off his back if needed. He loved his family, his many animals and being in nature. He was always learning and teaching, whether it was with 4-H or with his grandkids at Grandpa’s Bootcamp. He also made a mean apple pie.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Larry Adams and his granddaughter Melinda Haney.
The surviving family includes daughter Cindy Brown & her husband Robert, daughter Martha Markwell & her husband Randy, son Scott Messler & his wife Gail, granddaughters Litha Addams and Kristi Messler, great granddaughter Teagan, sister Dorothy Coady and longtime friend Lavonne Mont.
A celebration of life will be held in the Pine Room at the Congregational Church in Charlestown NH on Saturday, April 6th from 1 – 3 p.m.

Private funeral services will be held with interment to follow on the family property in Wellborn, FL.
