William Vernon Ducoeur, Jr.

William Vernon “Billy” DuCoeur, Jr., age 49, of Lake City, FL passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was a native and life-long resident of Lake City where he worked as a registered nurse and wound care specialist. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Ft. White. Billy loved hunting, raising deer and target shooting. He is survived by one son, William V. DuCoeur, III “Trey”, Lake City, FL; two daughters, Brandi Nicole DuCoeur and Caitlin Paige DuCoeur both of Ocala, FL; his mother, Faye Morgan DuCoeur, White Springs, FL; two grandchildren, William V. DuCoeur, IV “Will” and Brantley Hunter Coody. Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Friday, September 2, 2016 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Witt and Rev. Earl Tuten officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 at the church.
