William Bill Marks

William “Bill” Marks April 6, 1930 * September 4, 2011 William “Bill” Marks, age 81, of Branford, Florida passed away early Sunday morning, September 4, 2011 in the Polk Medical Center in Cedartown, GA following a lengthy illness. The Alto, Texas native moved to Branford, FL in 2003 from Stone Mountain, GA. He worked in the maintenance department for a glass factory in Leco County for many years before retiring. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Stone Mountain Lodge #449 F & AM. Survivors include a very close friend, Carla Elaine Miller, Rockmart, GA; one son, Mike Marks, Jacksonville, FL; one daughter, Wanda Santana, Branford, FL; one brother, Richard Marks, Acworth, GA. As per his wishes finalization was by cremation.
