Willie C. Cribbs September 12,1924*October 18, 2010 Willie C. Cribbs, age 86, of Live Oak, FL passed away Monday evening, October 18, 2010, at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. The White Springs, FL native lived most of his life in Live Oak, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and a retired tractor mechanic. W.C. loved to fish and work in his gardens. He also loved and supported the V.A. Volunteers and greatly appreciated the service they provided the veterans and was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jewel Cribbs, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Jene Wagner, Live Oak, FL; two step-daughters, Sylvia Wilson, Live Oak, FL; Linda Goolsby, Jacksonville, FL; two step-sons, John Summerfield, Live Oak, FL; Kenneth Troupe, Niceville, FL; Three grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren, Four Great-Great grandchildren, Ten step-Grandchildren and Twenty-nine step- Great Grandchildren. Visitation was held Wednesday, Oct. 20th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM, Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 in the Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. James Carrier officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family asked in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Haven Hospice, 6037 Hwy 90 W., Lake City, FL 32055 or V.A.
