Willie Junior Russell

Will Russell, age 86, of Live Oak, FL passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was a native of Williston, FL moving to Live Oak in 1990 from Gainesville, FL. He worked as a bank security guard and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Will was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williston, Moose Lodge and the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches. He is survived by one son, Willie Dale Russell, Gainesville, FL; one step-son, Gregory Sapp, Live Oak; two daughters, Karen Drost, Houston, TX; Barbara Ann Dingman, Gainesville, FL; two step-daughters, Marilyn Jenkins, Live Oak; Sharon Mathews, Middleburg, FL; A loving niece and care giver, Barbara Pitts, White Spring, FL; three sisters, Lizzie Mae Clemons, Cope, S.C.; Ruth Young, Williston, FL; Irene Green, Crystal River, FL; six grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren and nineteen step-great grandchildren. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 until 11:00. Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Cheryl Pingel officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
