Willie Mae Watson

Willie Mae Watson, age 92, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. She was born in Lafayette County living most of her life in Live Oak where she was a homemaker and member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Willie Mae loved reading, sewing, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.She is survived by five sons, Gary (Nancy) Watson, Mitchel Watson, Phillip (Sue) Watson, Donald (Lori) Watson and Ray (Belinda) Watson all of Live Oak; one daughter, Barbara (Stanley) Bittman, Owensboro, KY; one sister, Laverne Peterson, High Springs, FL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Visitation was held, Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM, Friday, March 2, 2018 in the Mt Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. Wilbur Wood officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2119 SW 16th St., Gainesville, FL 32608 or Mt.
