Heather Wainwright
July 22, 1981 — January 5, 2021
Heather Wainwright, age 39, formally of McAlpin, FL, passed away January 5, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL following a sudden illness. She was born in Lake City, FL living most of her life in McAlpin and was a graduate of Suwannee Hight School class of 1999. Heather received her Masters Degree in teaching and also a Degree in law. She worked as a teacher and loved the outdoors, bicycling and running in marathons. She also enjoyed painting.
She was predeceased by her mother, Nancy LeDew.
She is survived by her father, Lawrence (Vickie) Wainwright, McAlpin, FL; two brothers, David Forrest, Jacksonville, FL and Alex Wainwright, Murphy, NC; one sister, Brittany Wainwright, Wheeling WV and her grandfather, Alvin Wainwright.
Memorial services were held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with her uncle, Barney Wainwright officiating.
